Grand Rapids drinks two ways: downtown, the Ionia–Monroe–Commerce grid of brewpubs, big rooms, and whiskey bars — or Bridge Street and the West Side, the butcher-sports rooms, beer gardens, and the Leonard Street distillery across the river. Same city, different night. Here is how their happy hours compare.
